The statue of 1000 Armed Avalokiteshvara was traditionally hand-carved in Nepal using Himalayan art. We are a traditional group of artists from the Kathmandu Valley. This statue was expertly constructed with a solid copper body and real 24-karat gold for the gilding. His face is illuminated by the brilliant halo set with priceless turquoise and corals, and his presence is engulfed by the majestic nimbus set with colorful acrylic paints.
