The 19-inch Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is the perfect addition to any area wishing for a sense of peace and serenity. This large figure of an Enlightened Being depicts the traditional form of the Shakyamuni Buddha, a revered spiritual teacher, leader, and example of wisdom in Buddhism.
Handcrafted by a group of skilled artists, the statue took months of dedication and hard work to complete the statue. The statue is cast on a copper alloy body, handcrafted, and then painted with genuine 24k gold. The Enlightened being is depicted sitting atop a lotus seat with a calm expression. His right hand is downward in the earth-touching gesture (bhumisparsha mudra), with which he calls the earth goddess Sthavara to affirm that he is entitled to attain enlightenment, and in his right hand, he holds an alms bowl. His face is painted in genuine 24k gold powder, making his face most delicate.
