Traditional Himalayan Art Amita Buddha
The statue of Amita Buddha was expertly hand-carved by us in our studio using traditional Himalayan art. The figurine is made of oxidized copper, which was first carved, and has 24k real gold gilding on the face. The deity is depicted with a calm look sitting over a moon disc lotus and holding an ambrosia vase—which carries the riches of an infinite life—in his two hands over his lap. This statue of the Amitabha Buddha showcases exquisite craftsmanship, including the lotus blossom he is seated over and the intricate design patterns on his Kasaya robes.
This statue has accurate traditional iconography and fine details and will be a perfect gift to a devotee like you from Nepal.

Amitabha is well-known for his longevity, the accumulation of discernment, pure perception, and the profound awareness of the emptiness of phenomena. According to these scriptures, Amitabha has infinite merit due to his good deeds in countless previous lives as a bodhisattva named Dharmakra. Because Amitabha means "Infinite Light" and Amityus means "Infinite Life," Amitabha is also known as "The Buddha of Immeasurable Light and Life."
