Traditional Tibetan Amitayus Long Life Mantra Practice Statue
The Amitayus Long Life Mantra Practice Statue was artistically hand-carved in Nepal utilizing traditional techniques from the Himalayas. This statue depicts the Amitayus resting on a moon disc lotus while holding a vase that contains the nectar of immortality. The molding of the statue was made of copper. This has been very intricately carved by hand. The halo and crown of the statue are the two most striking elements. We have adorned crowns, robes, and a lotus seat with valuable corals and diamonds. The designs were carved, and real 24K gold was used for gilding the figure. We utilized acrylic paints to draw attention to the deity's facial features. We can tell you that the statue was made using only the best materials and will last very long. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve the intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. The figurine weighs about 18.41 kg and it took us years of hard work to complete it.
