24k Gold Gilded Hand Carved Ancient Shakyamuni Buddha Statue
The Ancient Shakyamuni Buddha Statue was traditionally hand-carved in our studio in Nepal with the ancient Vajrayana technique. The enormous figure was carved using a copper body, gilded with 24k genuine gold and finely painted with acrylic paint that further highlights the intricate design patterns of the statue. The deity is depicted seated upon a moon disc lotus with a peaceful expression in a meditative posture. He holds an alms bowl inches left hand and right hand, making the earth touching mudra with his right hand, which resembles his attained Enlightenment. The halo placed behind the statue illuminates the face of the deity. The statue of the Shakyamuni Buddha was meticulously carved in our studio which took over a year to complete, with intricate design patterns carved onto the figure. You can use this statue for various Buddhist rituals as well as your everyday meditational practices.
