Bodhisattva Gold Gilded Avalokiteshvara Buddha Sculpture
We are the artist of the Kathmandu valley who has finely handmade the Avalokiteshvara Buddha Sculpture in the classic Himalayan Art style. We have been carving sacred Buddhist deities for generations at our workshop in Kathmandu, Nepal. Here we have depicted Chenrezig with four arms seated on a moon disc lotus seat. The upper right hand holds a lotus and the upper left hand is a magnificently ornamented crystal rosary. With his primary hands, he holds a wish-fulfilling jewel near his chest. We have molded the figurine using an oxidized copper body and hand-carved intricate design patterns. Then we partly gilded it using genuine 24K gold and silver plating. The face and the crown are gilded using gold, partly on the utpala, silk scarf, robe, and lotus set. We have silver-plated the remaining part of the silk scarf, lotus seat, and robe.
This Chenrezig has accurate traditional iconography and fine details and will be a perfect gift to a devotee like you from Nepal.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop of a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
