Traditionally Hand-Carved Beautiful Green Tara Statue for Meditation and Ritual
The beautiful Green Tara statue is an intricately handcrafted piece produced in our studio and designed with unique Nepali motifs. Carved out of copper, the statue was gilded in genuine 24K gold, and with an antique finish, it has a classic look. In the statue, Green Tara sits atop a moon disc lotus as two lotuses, one fully bloomed and the other semi-blooming, sit beside her head, representing purity, enlightenment, and the triumph of spirit over adversity. The deity can be seen seated with her left leg extended forward on a moon disc lotus seat as she performs the 'Varada Mudra,' the gesture for charity and offering, with her left hand, and 'Prithvi mudra,' with her right hand.
Beautiful gems adorn the Buddha's body. Crafted with the utmost care and precision, this statue boasts intricate details and a rich, golden finish that brings the beauty of Green Tara to life. The ideal Buddhist shrine addition can be a meditative accompaniment for yourself or any devotee.

Green Tara is the manifestation from whence all of Tara's other forms emerge, connected with enlightened action and active compassion. Tara is the most revered of the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon's female enlightened deities. She is "the mother of all buddhas" and "she who ferries beings over the ocean of samsara" since she is the embodiment of enlightened love and compassion.
