Beautiful Bhutan Guru Rinpoche | Buddhist Figurine With Copper Body
The Bhutan Guru Rinpoche statue, measuring 15.4" (39 cm) in height with a base width of 8.7" (22 cm) and a weight of 5.21 kg, is a wonderfully created artwork made of copper. It is embellished with 24K gold gilding and intricate gold and acrylic paintings, demonstrating excellent Tibetan artistry.
Padmasambhava with three eyes is seated on a lotus throne, holding a vajra in his right hand and a skull cup carrying the nectar of wisdom immortality in his left hand. A "khatvanga" (sacred trident) with three severed heads leans on his left shoulder, symbolizing freedom from the three principal causes of misery (kayas). His robes are wonderfully molded with exquisite decors, and his unique cap is topped with an eagle feather on top.
