Gold Gilded Hand Carved Bodhisattva Chenrezig Art Sculpture
The Bodhisattva Chenrezig Art Sculpture was traditionally hand-carved with a pure copper body and finished with real 24k gold in our studio in Nepal. The deity is depicted seated upon a moon disc lotus with a peaceful expression while he is depicted with 4 arms. He holds a crystal rosary and an utpala flower with his 2 backhands while his two frontal arms hold the wish-fulfilling crystal with two hands clasped together. The nimbus disk is placed behind the deity, which is beautifully plated with silver electroplating. The statue took our statues months of hard work carving the design patterns of the statue.
For a practitioner like you, this will be the ideal present from Nepal to support your regular meditation practice.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
