Traditionally Hand-Carved Bodhisattva Figure Art for Religious and Meditative Purposes
We have masterfully hand-carved this Bodhisattva figure statue in the traditional Himalayan style. The statue is carved out of copper and gilded in gold with an antique finish. In the statue, the bodhisattva is portrayed sitting in a lotus posture on a moon disc lotus seat. The bodhisattva's two hands come together to perform the 'Dharmachakra mudra,' representing the Buddha's first teaching, known as the Four Noble Truths, which he gave at Deer Park in Sarnath after he attained enlightenment. The statue's sublime facial expressions are highlighted with acrylic painting, and the statue is bejeweled with precious gemstones like the turquoise meticulously placed by our artists.
We can guarantee that the statue was made using only the best materials and will last a very long time. The ideal Buddhist shrine addition can be a meditative accompaniment for yourself or any devotee.

A Bodhisattva is a term used in Buddhism to refer to a person who has attained a high level of spiritual development and has dedicated themselves to achieving enlightenment, or Buddhahood, for the benefit of all sentient beings. They are characterized by their compassionate and selfless nature and their willingness to delay their own attainment of enlightenment in order to help others on the path. The Bodhisattva path is considered the highest and most noble aspiration in Mahayana Buddhism.
