Hand Crafted Bodhisattva Manjushri, Deity Of Wisdom Sculpture
This statue beautifully depicts Bodhisattva Manjushri, who is also the god of wisdom. A Nepali craftsman handmade this figure in copper and 24K gold in Kathmandu. The acrylic paint further highlights the intricate design patterns of the statue. The deity is depicted seated atop a lion with her right leg folded inwards and her right leg resting upon a blooming lotus flower. Both hands of the deity are folded between each other, which respectively hold the stem of an utpala flower in each hand which holds the book of knowledge and the flaming sword. Turquoise and priceless diamonds are used to adorn the deity's crown and other ornaments on the statue. The statue took our artists months of hard work to carve with intricate design patterns.
This indoor Manjushri art will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you that will aid in your daily practice.
