This sculpture of the Vajrasattva Dorje Sempa was created by expert carvers in Nepal using a copper body and faultless design patterns. The body was then covered in a coating of 24k gold. The god, who has a serene look, is seated on a moon disc lotus and is holding a vajra in each hand, one in each hand over his breast. The deity's crown and body ornaments, covered in numerous precious jewel stones, are all entirely hand-carved with precise iconography.
