Himalayan Shakyamuni Buddha Art Design Statue
In our studio, Nepalese craftsmen skillfully constructed the Shakyamuni Buddha Art Design Statue. The deity is depicted serenely reclining on a lotus throne. He simultaneously holds an alms bowl with his left hand and has his right hand in the mudra of touching the earth. The statue's throne is specially crafted with multiple carvings that represent various mythical creatures and are individually painted with acrylic paint, highlighting every aspect and detail of the statue. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve the intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. The statue is made of a copper body gilded with 24k genuine gold. An umbrella is positioned above the statue to symbolize that the figure or object below is the center of the universe. This immaculate work of art took years to construct, with careful attention paid to every detail. We have artistically adorned the deity with valuable gemstones.
This figure can be used in various Buddhist rituals and meditation exercises.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
