Buddha Guru Rinpoche, Buddhist Statue
In this Buddhist statue, Guru Rinpoche is shown wonderfully. This Buddha Sculpture is made in copper and gilded in 24K gold by a Nepali artist in Kathmandu. He has a vajra specter in his right hand and a skullcup with a jar of immortality in his left. The Khatvang trident, his celestial spouse of ecstasy and emptiness, is held in the curve of his left hand.

Guru Rinpoche was born in the Flaming Monkey Year 3,060 years ago, 12 years after Buddha attained parnirvana as predicted by Buddha. Despite possible variations in estimates and dates, he stated that it was vital to understand Guru Padmasambhava's life and teachings to appreciate his knowledge.
