Guru Rinpoche Statue, Buddha Of Vajrayana Sculpture
This wonderful statue depicts the Vajrayana Buddha. This Guru Rinpoche statue was created in copper and gilded 24K gold by a Nepali craftsman in Kathmandu. He looks like a king wearing a lotus cap. In his right hand, he carries a Vajra with five sharp edges and a skullcap holding a jar of immortality. The heavenly staff in his left elbow signified a king-sitting.

Guru Rinpoche was key to the growth of Buddhism in Tibet. Guru Rinpoche translated many Buddhist books into Tibetan with the help of a team of 25 followers, 108 translators, and Santaraksita. The project took a long time to complete. He was given the title "Buddha of the Vajrayana" for his accomplishments. He disproved the public's lousy perception of tantra.
