Buddha Shakyamuni Seated In Meditation Statue, Gilded With 24K Gold
This statue shows Buddha Shakyamuni seated in meditation magnificently. This statue is handcrafted in Kathmandu by a Nepali artist in copper and gilded in 24K Gold. His back is perfectly straight, and he is seated in the lotus position of meditation—legs crossed at the ankles with the soles upward. He wears a basic, thin monk's robe covering his left shoulder and arm but exposing the right. His hair is a knot of tightly curled hairs. His earlobes are excessively long.
