Traditional Himalayan Hand-Crafted Buddha Statue Silver
We are the artist of the Kathmandu valley who has finely handmade the Buddha Statue Silver in the classic Himalayan Art style. It is one of its kind artwork. The body of the figurine is molded using the oxidized copper body. We have artistically hand-carved the kasaya robe with intricate design patterns. We have gilded the face of the Buddha with genuine 24K gold. In contrast, the robe and the lotus seat have been silver plated. The deity is shown in a meditative pose while seated on a moon disc lotus and has a serene expression. He does the earth-touching mudra with his right hand, representing his gained Enlightenment while holding an alms bowl in his left hand.
It took us months and months of hard work and devotion to complete the artwork.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
