Buddhism Bodhisattva of Compassion, Green Tara Sculpture for Mediation
We created this stunning gold statue of Buddhism Bodhisattva, Green Tara in our studio using a traditional Himalayan carving technique passed down from generation to generation from Nepal. Divine Tara is depicted seated atop a moon disc lotus flower with compassion and serenity as she performs the 'Prithvi Mudra' with her right hand signifying the healing and spiritual balance of within the body. She is also shown portraying the 'Varada Mudra,' gesture of offering and compassion with her left hand while holding a flower of Utpala. Beautiful turquoise are placed magnifying the beauty of Divine Tara.

Tara is the savior, the personification of compassion, the one who reaches out and freely replies to everyone who is suffering. Tara is courageous and generous to a fault. Green Tara and White Tara are her most popular incarnations, though she occasionally appears as Red Tara in Dakini form. "Om tare tuttare ture svaha," says Green Tara. White Tara's mantra is "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha," which means "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha."
