Traditionally Hand Carved Bodhisattva Chenrezig Sculpture
This Chenrezig Bodhisattva sculpture was carved by hand and exquisitely painted in a pure copper body before getting plated with genuine 24k gold. This statue took more than a month to construct since the artist had to work on the design of robes, gemstones, and many other accessories in great detail. This is the beautiful work of Kathmandu valley artists, whose work is precious. Atop a moon disc lotus seat, Chenrezig is represented with a tranquil expression. The crown is adorned with gold and turquoise. The traditionally crafted statue will provide the positive energy to a practitioner like you.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
