Finely Hand Carved Sculpture of Bodhisattva Chenrezig
We are the artist of Kathmandu who has sculpted the sculpture of Bodhisattva Chenrezig in the traditional Himalayan Art of Nepal. It took more than a month for us to complete the art since we have designed exquisitely and finely handcrafted in pure copper body and gilded it with genuine 24k gold. We have magnificently adorned the crown with precious turquoise and corals and elegantly embellished the ornaments with valuable pearls and jewels. The materials used in this statue are of high quality, and we assure you that they will last for many years. We have depicted a deity seated atop a moon disc lotus seat with a serene expression.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
