Standing Bodhisattva Chenrezig Meditation Practice Statue
The Standing Chenrezig Meditation Practice Statue was handcrafted in our workshop utilizing techniques for traditional handicrafts. We used oxidized copper to sculpt the deity. Here we have depicted Chenrezig standing on a lotus seat, with Varada mudra in his right hand and a lotus in his left hand. The crown, body ornament, lotus, robe, and lotus seat have been elegantly silver-plated. The body gives off an oxidized copper color. This contrast in appearance is quite captivating.
The Bodhisattva Chenrezig Statue will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop of a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
