Himalayan Four-Arm Chenrezig Sculpture of Nepal
Using a traditional Himalayan sculpting method, we have meticulously hand-made the Chenrezig Sculpture. Copper is used to molding the body, which is later glided with a triple layer of 24K pure gold. On the statue, the deity is depicted sitting on the moon disc on a lotus, holding a lotus in his upper left hand and a wish-fulfilling jewel in his upper right hand. There is also a crystal rosary in his upper right hand. The skills we use to craft such statue in our studio has been passed on for generations. It took us months of hard work and devotion to craft such art.

Chenrezig is often referred as Avalokiteshvara. The mantra of Chenrezig, “Om Mani Padme Hum” is one of the most recited mantras in Buddhism. This six-syllable powerful mantra is said to have all of the Buddha’s teachings. Practitioners chant this mantra silently or aloud continuously to spark the loving and unconditional aspects of compassion and to connect with their loving and compassionate nature.
