Gold Gilded Tibetan Buddhist Yogini, Machig Labdron Statue
Intricately handcrafted in our workshop, the traditional Machig Labdron statue is full of unique Himalayan artistry. This statue is sculpted out of copper and gilded in gold giving it its final shine. In the statue, the Yogini can be seen serenely standing atop a moon disc lotus seat in a tree position as she holds a ritual bell in her right hand and a golden drum in her left hand. She has a third eye on her forehead. This statue is the result of hand carvings done over the course of several months by our Vajrayan Artists.
Since many centuries ago, we have been creating old Vajrayana statues like this one. A perfect addition to your Buddhist Altar and a gift for any devout.

Machig was a self-styled beggar woman and was a distinctive individual for being the Tibetan Woman and the progenitor of a particular tradition. Her life is an inspiring story of a committed practitioner, at-times beggar woman, brilliant teacher, mother, and lineage founder. This tradition spread back into the Buddhist motherland of India. It was a cause for great national pride in Tibet. And she left a tremendous legacy of her teachings.
