Traditional Tibetan Gotama The Buddha Statue
Gotama, The Buddha Statue, was expertly hand-sculpted in our studio using the traditional Himalayan art style. This statue portrays the deity with a tranquil look sitting on a moon disc lotus seat. His left hand is holding an alms bowl, while his right hand is making the mudra of the earth touching. The copper is used to shape the body, which is then hand-carved. Additionally, we gilded the figurine with real 24K gold. The statue has a lovely sheen from the gold's gilding. We've added valuable gemstone figurines to bring the god to life better.
This statue has accurate traditional iconography and fine details and will be a perfect gift to a devotee like you from Nepal.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
