Gold-Gilded Tibetan Green Tara Guru Sculpture
The exquisite Compassionate Tibetan Green Tara Guru Sculpture was expertly made by hand using traditional techniques to capture the deity in its accurate iconographic form. Another name for Tara is the goddess of Compassion. A copper body was used for the sculpture of the Green Tara, and 24k pure gold was used for the gilding. With her left hand doing the Prithvi Mudra, which represents the union of wisdom and compassion, and her right hand making the gesture of providing refuge, the deity is seen sitting over a moon disc lotus with a serene look. The lotus seat, an utpala, necklaces, anklets, and bracelets are gilded with genuine 24K gold. The body and the face of the deity are hand-painted using acrylic paintings. The statue weighs about 5.40 kg, and it took us months and months of hard work and dedication to complete.
This statue has accurate traditional iconography and fine details.

Green Tara is the manifestation from whence all of Tara's other forms emerge, connected with enlightened action and active compassion. Tara is the most revered of the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon's female enlightened deities. She is "the mother of all buddhas" and "she who ferries beings over the ocean of samsara" since she is the embodiment of enlightened love and compassion.
