Tibetan Hand-carved Sculpture, Padmasambhava Guru Rinpoche
Guru Rinpoche (Precious Guru), a Buddhist Tantric Vajra Master, was believed to have taught Vajrayana in Tibet and is credited for introducing Buddhism in Tibet. This beautiful sculpture is hand-carved on a copper body, gilded in pure 24k gold made by artists in Kathmandu Nepal. He is seen seated on a moon disc wearing a Lotus hat, holding Vajra in his right hand and a skull cup in the left while Trident rested on his left shoulder.
