Buddhist Vajra Master, Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) Statue
Guru Rinpoche (Precious Guru), a Buddhist Tantric Vajra Master, is credited with introducing Buddhism to Tibet and teaching Vajrayana in Tibet. This delightful sculpture is hand-carved on a copper body and gilded in pure 24k gold by Nepalese artists based in Kathmandu Nepal. He is depicted sitting on a moon disc wearing a five-petalled lotus hat, holding Vajra in his right hand and a skull vase in his left, with Trident resting on his left shoulder.

The teachings of Guru Rinpoche are said to have an oral lineage in Tibetan Buddhism. Guru Padmasambhava is also regarded as a Buddha who was predicted by Buddha Shakyamuni.
