Hand-Carved Traditional Art Of Guru Vajrasattva Statue
The statue of the Guru Vajrasattva was expertly hand-carved with meticulous details in our studio. We crafted the figurine using copper. On this copper body, we have hand-carved intricate design patterns. The carvings on the crown, robe and throne itself are the main highlight of the statue. We also have gilded the whole statue set using genuine 24K gold. In the statue, the deity is depicted sitting on a moon disc lotus with a serene look while holding a bell in his left hand over his lap and a vajra above his chest. We also have embellished with various valuable jewels over the body decorations.

Vajrasatva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
