Gold Gilded Guru Vajrasattva Statue for Your Buddhist Altar
Intricately handcrafted in our workshop, this traditional Guru Vajrasattva statue is full of unique Himalayan artistry. This figure was carved out of copper and then gilded with 24k gold. The Bodhisattva is depicted sitting on a moon disc lotus seat and in the lotus position, displaying his characteristic calm and serene demeanor. In his right hand, he holds a vajra, which stands for the transience and stability of reality, and on his left, he holds a bell, which symbolizes emptiness and the voice of enlightenment. The statue is full of intricate details, like the folds of his robe. The serene facial expression of the bodhisattva is beautifully highlighted with acrylic paints.
We can guarantee that the statue was made using only the best materials and will last a very long time. The ideal Buddhist shrine addition can be a meditative accompaniment for yourself or any devotee.

Vajrasatva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
