The Tibetan Siddha, Jetsun Milarepa, is depicted in this statue made by traditionally trained Vajraya artists in our studio. The Buddhist master can be seen seated in a relaxed posture that was hand-carved out of copper and gilded in 24k gold for its final luster. The famous Buddhist yogi is depicted as half-naked, emaciated with a genial appearance signifying his austere lifestyle. He holds his ear out with his left hand, a symbol of his humility and willingness to accept responsibility for his actions.
