Oxidized Copper Art Of Buddhist Deity Ksitigarbha
Master Sculptors from Kathmandu crafted this magnificent statue of the Ksitigarbha Buddha in our studio using traditional Himalayan art. The figure depicts the Ksitigarbha relaxing on a lotus seat while donning exquisitely carved jewelry. In his right hand, he carries a pearl with incredible magical powers. The Varada mudra, which denotes "gift offering," can be seen on his left hand. His headwear is lovely and formed like lotus petals with more stones. Oxidized copper was used to make the sculpture. All of the exquisite features of the god were hand-carved.
