Hand Craved Sculpture of Long Life Buddha Amitayus
We have exquisitely hand-sculpted the sculpture of Long Life Buddha Amitayus in a traditional Himalayan style made in Nepal. We have depicted the deity seated atop a moon disc on a lotus seat with a calm and serene expression holding a vase containing amrita, the nectar of immortality with both hands. We have molded the body using copper and craved intricate design patterns. This is later glided with pure 24K gold. The crown is embellished and turquoise with precious gems and the body is adorned with valuable jewels and stones. It took us months and months of hard work for the completion of the statue. This will be a tremendous gift to a practitioner like you from Nepal.

Amitayus, of the Aparimitagunasamchaya or Amitavyhavat pure world, is usually shown in his apparitional buddha form (sambhogakaya), red in color, wearing a crown and jewels, and holding a long-life vase over two hands in a meditation gesture. A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
