This Namgyalma, deity of long life statue, is hand-carved and gilded with pure 24K Gold. Namgyalma is also known as Ushnisaviajaya, and she is one of the three long-life deities. Namgyalma is a deity of long life and cleansing, having three faces, each of which has the third eye. She has calm, semi-wrathful, and wrathful expressions. Her calm presence in a costume, perched on a lotus seat, represents the elimination of calamities. Her other aspect denotes longevity and blessings, while her wrathful look denotes demon defeat.
