Maitreya Buddha Tusita Heaven Buddha statue is carved from the copper body delicately embellished with triple layers of 24K gold gilding, deeply engraved carving, and intricate acrylic & gold paintings. The statue is Western-style, symbolizing Maitreya's willingness to come down when the time is right. He holds either a stupa, symbolizing Buddha's relics, or a vase of immortality, symbolizing his capacity to grant longevity and spiritual prosperity. Maitreya's left hand is in the Varada mudra, symbolizing offering, giving, welcoming, generosity, and compassion, and his right hand is in the Abhaya mudra, symbolizing protection, kindness, peace, and fear dispelling.
