Traditionally Carved Art of Medicine Buddha
We have exquisitely crafted the statue of Medicine Buddha, also known as Healing Buddha, in traditional Himalayan Art. In this statue, we have portrayed Lapis Lazuli in a golden form, traditionally hand carved in a copper body, gilded with genuine 24k gold, and painted with acrylic colors. We have depicted a deity seated on top of a moon disc lotus seat with a serene expression, holding a vase in his left hand while he holds a myrobalan plant in his right hand. We are the Kathmandu Valley artist whose artisan has passed from generation to generation in making ancient Vajrayana statues. This tremendous meditational sculpture will be a great gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit, is regarded as the Buddha of Healing. His teachings aim to free sentient beings from sickness, pain, anguish, and unhappiness while also emphasizing the need to acquire prosperity and enjoyment in this life. Many meditators in the Mahayana tradition admire his healing abilities. He is frequently shown with a blue (lapis lazuli) body and hands carrying a begging bowl and medical herbs.
