Traditionally Hand Carved Namo Avalokiteshvara Sculpture.
The Namo Avalokiteshvara Sculpture was traditionally hand-carved in our studio in Nepal with an exclusive design that is done by the artists of Nepal. The figure was carved using a copper body, gilded with 24k genuine gold and finely painted with acrylic paint to highlight the design patterns accurately to the iconography of the Buddhist deity. The statue depicts the deity seated upon a moon disc lotus with a serene look, with his two front arms holding a wish-fulfilling gem while clasped together and the back arms holding a lotus flower and rosary bead in each hand. This one-of-a-kind sculpture of the Chenrezig took our artists months of hard work to carve with intricate design patterns and engraving with numerous gemstones to decorate the statue.
This magnificent statue of the Chenrezig Avalokiteshvara will be the perfect gift for a practitioner like you from Nepal.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
