24K Gold Gilded Namo Shakyamuni Buddha Statue
Namo Shakyamuni Buddha, seated atop a moon disc lotus seat, is shown in this statue which is hand carved in Kathmandu. The artistically crafted floral motifs on his robe, as well as the colorful lotus petals, have added to the statue's attractiveness. The exquisitely carved elongated earlobes represent a willful rejection of the material world in favor of spiritual enlightenment. The Ushnisha above the head is entirely handcrafted by the artist, and it represents Buddha's wisdom.

Shakyamuni Buddha Introduction:
The historical Buddha and the creator of Buddhist philosophy is Shakyamuni Buddha, often known as "the Buddha." Each "Kalpa" (Buddhist eon) is said to have its own Buddha, whose teachings are considered to vanish when the next Buddha appears. He depicts on atop a moon disc lotus seat, holding a begging bowl in his left hand. Similarly, his right hand is in earth touching mudra.
