Traditionally Gold Gilded Namo Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture
We are the artist of Kathmandu valley we've hand-carved the sculpture of Namo Shakyamuni Buddha in a pure copper body and gilded it with genuine 24k gold. Our artisan has passed through generations, and we make ancient Vajrayana statues reflecting Buddhism in a traditional Himalayan style. We have exquisitely designed and crafted the elegant halo with the hand adorned with precious turquoise. Buddha is depicted atop a moon disc lotus seat, holding an alms bowl in his left hand while his right hand is on earth touching mudra. Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
