Gold Gilded Nepal Buddha Sculpture For Meditation
We created the Nepal Buddha Sculpture in our studio according to traditional sculpting methods. Copper was used to mold the figure, then 24-karat gold was added for the finishing touches. The deity's facial features are emphasized with acrylic paint. He is portrayed seated on a moon disc lotus with his right hand doing bhumisparsha mudra, or the earth-touching mudra and his left hand holding an alms bowl over his lap with a serene look on his face. He is dressed in stunning Kasaya robes with elaborate embroidery. We worked day and night tirelessly for several months to finish this work of art. Due to additional polishing and gilding of the gold, the statue has a beautiful luster shine.
This Shakyamuni Buddha statue will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a devotee like you that will aid you in your practices and regular activities such as meditation and yoga.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
