Traditionally Hand-Carved Noble Tara Sculpture
Noble Tara Sculpture was brought to life via months of handwork in this wonderfully crafted statue. Her crown and body ornaments are exquisitely carved and have beautiful decorations of turquoise and corals. We molded the body using copper, onto which we hand-carved different elements. The deity's body is painted with the green hue of acrylic paint. This gives the exact iconography portrayal of the deity. The robe has intricate design patterns as well. All of those were hand-carved using a hammer and small chisels. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. We are skilled artisans from Nepal whose craft has been passed down through the years. We specialize in carving old Vajrayana sculptures.
