Guru Rinpoche was instrumental in bringing Buddhism to Tibet. He translated many Buddhist texts into Tibetan with the help of 25 disciples and 108 translators. The project took a long time to complete, but his efforts earned him the title "Vajrayana Buddha." He disproved the public's negative perception of tantra.
