Traditionally Gold-Gilded Tibetan Himalayan Rahula Buddha Statue
We hand-carved the Rahula Buddha statue in Nepal using copper. Gilded with 24k gold, it's perfect for meditation, yoga, or decoration. The statue shows a deity with a body of a naga, holding a bow and arrow. Surrounded by halo flames, with a necklace of human heads and nine heads with crowns of skulls, the deity is portrayed artistically. Big earrings adorn his ears. We have molded the figurine using a copper body and gilded using gold. We painted the deity using acrylic paints on the face to highlight the facial expression, on the halo flames, skull and on the skull necklace.
This figurine of Rhaule will be great for Buddhist rituals and meditation and a perfect gift for practitioners like you from Nepal.

In the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism, Rahula is one of the "Three Treasure Protectors." The Indian deity Rahula, a demi-god of the cosmos related to the eclipse of the sun, moon, and other planets, is the inspiration for the Tibetan protector deity. Rahula is an ancient Indian deity who became famous as a protector of the "revealed treasure" teachings in the older school of Tibetan Buddhism (Nyingma) (terma).
