Statue of Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava for Meditation and Ritual
This exquisite piece of Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava sculpture employs traditional Himalayan motifs and designs delicately produced in our studio. With semi-wrathful expression, Guru Rinpoche is shown regally seated atop a moon disc lotus seat. He holds a vajra in his left hand, a vase, and a Khatvanga trident, his celestial ally of bliss and emptiness, in the arc of his left hand. The three kayas on his tantric staff stand for desire, form, and formlessness.

Guru Rinpoche was instrumental in bringing Buddhism to Tibet. He translated a number of Buddhist texts into Tibetan with the help of 25 disciples and 108 translators. The project took a long time to complete, but his efforts earned him the title "Vajrayana Buddha." He disproved the public's negative perception of tantra.
