Traditionally Hand Carved Seated Shakyamuni Buddha Statue
The Seated Shakyamuni Buddha Statue was hand carved by the master craftsmen of Nepal with intricate design patterns which are exclusively done in Nepal. The figure of the Shakyamuni Buddha was flawlessly molded from a copper body and gilded with a coated with genuine 24k gold symbolizing knowledge, enlightenment, purity, happiness, and freedom. The figure was further detailed using acrylic paint over the kasaya robes, head and the halo illumining the sculpture. The deity is peacefully seated upon a moon disc lotus with a peaceful expression as he holds an alms bowl with his left hand while slightly touching the ground with his right hand representing the attained enlightenment. Practitioners can use the statue for various activities like meditation, yoga, and different auspicious traditions.
