Our Master artisan sculpted this magnificent Shakyamuni Buddha Gold statue in the traditional Himalayan form in our studio. He is 13.7 inches tall with a calm and tranquil expression and sits on the Lotus moon disc. Shakyamuni Budhha is in Bhumisparsha Mudra, which involves resting the left hand in the lap with the palm facing upward. The right hand is palm down on the right knee, fingers pointing toward the ground.

Shakyamuni Buddha was born around 2600 years ago in Kapilvastu, Lumbini, Nepal, and spent 45 years performing many Buddha activities for the benefit of all sentient beings.
