Himalayan Meditation Sculpture of Shakyamuni Buddha
We have exquisitely hand-carved the meditation sculpture of Shakyamuni Buddhas in the traditional Himalayan Art of Nepal. He is depicted seated on a lotus seat projecting his majestic enlightenment and with his right hand extended to the earth, Bhumispara Mudra, a witness gesture. For molding the body we have used copper which is later glided with 24K pure gold. We have completed the statue with complete devotion using methods passed down from ancestors. It took months and months of hard work to crave the intricate patterns on the statue.
This sculpture of Shakyamuni Buddha will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Siddhartha Gautama was born the crown prince of the powerful Shakya Kingdom and raised to be a monarch in accordance with his royal father's wishes. He heard about people's enormous anguish in life when he was approximately 29 years old. He gave up his palace life and all of his opulent robes and wealth in order to figure out what was causing the pain and how to relieve it. He reached his goal after nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and intense focus. He'd reached nirvana (a Buddha). He then claimed to have gone to a deer park on the outskirts of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
