Hand Craved Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture Tibet Art
We, the modern descendent of century-old Buddhist Himalayan art of Tibet sculpting sacred statues, have carved the Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture. The body of the figure is molded using the oxidized copper body. The deity in the statue is depicted seated on a moon disc lotus seat holding an alms bowl in his left hand and the right hand is in the earth-touching mudra. The molding of the statue with such an intricate design pattern took us months of hard work and devotion. This magnificent Buddha art will be a wonderful present to a practitioner like you.

Shakyamuni Buddha is also known as the enlightened one who is the founder of Buddhism and its teachings. The ancient Sanskrit word 'Buddha' means 'having become awoken ' in the sense of having attained 'supreme awareness'. It is closely related to the term 'Bodhi' which refers to awareness. His main goal was to free people from their suffering. Shakyamuni Buddha's teachings are based on his insight into suffering.
