Hand-Carved White Tara Standing Bodhisattva Statue for Meditation and Yoga
We meticulously hand-carved this magnificent standing bodhisattva statue of White Tara in our studio. The statue is comprised of oxidized copper. The female bodhisattva is portrayed elegantly standing on top of a moon disc lotus seat. She has a peaceful countenance with a beautiful Utpala flower, a symbol of purity and enlightenment, blooming beside her right shoulder. She is depicted with seven eyes on each sole, each palm, and a third eye on her forehead, indicating her all-seeing ability to respond to the needs of beings with compassion and skillful means.
Since many centuries ago, we have been creating old Vajrayana statues like this one. A perfect addition to your Buddhist Altar and a gift for any devout.

Tara is related to Chenrezig (Avalokitesvara), the Compassionate Bodhisattva. According to one legend, she was born from Chenrezig's compassionate tears. Some also regard her as Chenrezig's consort or female manifestation. White Tara has seven eyes, one on her forehead and one on each hand and foot, symbolizing her compassionate vigilance to see the world's suffering.
