We have exquisitely crafted the Buddha Maitreya sculpture, depicted peacefully seated upon a moon disc lotus. The deity is seated over a throne that has been exclusively carved by the artists of Nepal. Molded from a copper statue and gilded with a layer of genuine 24k gold. The robe's design is purely mesmerizingly, while the border of the robe and the throne have intricate fine features. His hands are clasped close to his heart, forming the Dharmachakra Mudra, a hand posture utilized in teaching and spinning the Wheel of Dharma. He symbolizes his brilliance and purity by holding the stem of a lotus flower between the thumb and index finger of each hand. You can use this figurine for different Buddhist Rituals and meditational practices.

Maitreya, in Buddhist tradition, the future Buddha, presently a bodhisattva residing in the Tushita heaven, who will descend to earth to preach anew the dharma (“law”) when the teachings of Gautama Buddha have completely decayed. Maitreya is the earliest Bodhisattva around whom a cult developed and is mentioned in scriptures from the 3rd century CE. He was accepted by all schools of Buddhism and is still the only bodhisattva generally honored by the Theravada tradition.
