Oxidized Copper Statue of the Medicine Buddha for Healing and Spirituality
The Medicine Buddha statue is an intricately handcrafted piece produced in our studio and designed with unique Nepali motifs. This figure is fully comprised of oxidized copper that gives the statue an elegant look of antiquity. In the statue, the Buddha can be seen seated atop a moon disc lotus seat, exuding sublimity and serenity, a characteristic nature of Medicine Buddha. The Buddha is depicted carrying a myrobalan plant in his right hand and an aks bowl containing the nectar of immortality in his left hand, both symbolic of his healing divinity. The statue is full of intricate patterns and motifs that our artists carved out over the course of several months.
Since many centuries ago, we have been creating old Vajrayana statues like this one. A perfect addition to your Buddhist Altar and a gift for any devout.

Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit, is regarded as the Buddha of Healing. His teachings aim to free sentient beings from sickness, pain, anguish, and unhappiness while emphasizing the need for prosperity and enjoyment in this life. Many meditators in the Mahayana tradition admire his healing abilities. He is frequently shown with a blue (lapis lazuli) body and hands carrying a begging bowl and medical herbs.
